September 16, 2009 - END ...

And that's our round the world will end soon ... Our plane takes off to London this evening and arrive in Lyon late Thursday afternoon. This year, punctuated with wonderful discoveries and encounters will remain in our memories.
Now, a new experience awaits us: work (which we will soon put us to look in returning)!
Thanks for following us in our adventure, he supported us and have made sure that we can achieve this dream!

Sterling Silver Ring - Blessing From Zion

14 and September 15, 2009 - Washington DC

Monday morning we took the bus to Washington DC to 4 hours drive from NYC. Washington is a beautiful city with beautiful monuments and museums (including the NASA museum that we visited). We of course went to the White House, the Washington Monument (which we climbed and offers a magnificent view over the city), Lincoln Memorial, the Capitol (huge and very beautiful), the Pentagon. In brief, a detour was worth it!

September 9, 2009 - Metropolitan Museum

Bisous
ps: en rentrant nous sommes passés près du lieu où ils étaient now a scene from "Sex And The City 2". Unfortunately we have not seen the heroines. We learned the next day it was a scene in Carrie and Big. But we were there anyway!

September 7, 2009 - New York: Macy's and Flatiron Building

Yesterday was Labor Day, except that unlike us in France, all shops are open and there are balances. So we went into Manhattan and more specifically in "the largest store in the world" (as they say themselves on their ad): Macy's. We have also a look at us the opportunity to walk to Flatiron Building (which means iron as evidenced by its shape), which inaugurated the era of Buildings in NYC.

September 6, 2009 - New York: Harlem and barbecue

Sunday we attended a gospel church in the neighborhood of Harlem. When we arrived at the first church where we wanted to go, hundreds of tourists lined up to attend the mass. So we had to find another church (which does not lack in the neighborhood). We were therefore able to attend a gospel church, which was quite nice but very long (we left after 2am and it was not finished yet ...).
the evening we had a barbecue with the family of American Ju (hot dogs, hamburgers, ...). Very nice evening!
