27 to 29/03 - Angkor and Angkor
And voila c is left for three days of visit temples.
** Day 1 **
up at 4:30, a small cafe and direction of the pass and buy our first temple ankgor Wat.
The sunrise is waiting for the sky is slightly overcast but it gives us time to appreciate the scene. Site C is a pretty impressive by its size, it is situated on an island and the locations are fairly well preserved (I can not wait to get to download the pictures to show you).
We spent 3 hours in this place has to look at the engravings, as impregnier places.
The sun begins to climb therefore direction of other temples history to enjoy the day. We will learn the hard way that this season was the warmest time (c is to say that at that moment, well it's really really really mega cho ...) c is from 10:30 to 12:30.
tuc tuc were resumed the leadership and the Bayon. C is really my favorite temple. From afar it looks just four laps but a fact dessinnent faces by turns. By avoiding some troops Koreen tourists, Chinese and others are mounted on the highest point of the site. C is really beautiful faces that are emerging everywhere. But hey wait has come to take a picture with no tourists. But this does not detract from the magic.
Since then we started to chain the temples for the day. We take our time, but not too many breaks. A watermelon at noon, you can really nothing else to swallow because of the heat, one or two breaks al shadow and if possible with a small current dair not hot ... and here we go: Elephant terrace, terrace of the Leper King, Phimeanakas (nothing but marches not much), the Baphaon (not much to see in the works), Chau Say Tevoda, Thommanonm, Takeo, Ta Phrom (c is in the jungle with all the trees that have taken precedence over the stones, looove), and continues: Bomteay Kdey and PRASET Kraven (not like at all).
short more than 12 temples in the day and fatigue enooorme. We will not sunset tonight, we can, but it was full of great images in the head and the camera!
2nd day ** **
Levee 5am for sunrise in the temple of our choice. We decided to go to the Bayon (the one with all faces) because our favorite one but also because it seemed to me that m c is said melody and nath. Bon ben nope, do not go down in the s waiting to see the sunrise of your life, the trees hide the soelil the coup was nothing out of hand and one thing not less. We were at 5:30 at the Bayon and we were alone. no guide to control the entry has no tourists until about 6:30.
It was an incredible moment, only in this magical place, just for us all the faces ... My favorite moment of serenity! So yes, we need not go for the sunrise (you will see lots of others) but the magic of this place!
And then we had our tranquility arranche (oki doggies have come around) and continue our visit: Preah Khon (Temple completely destroyed but where you stroll with very few tourists and where there is a a detour for wall a beautiful courtyard ... a super short time) Neah Pean, Ta Som, East Mebon, Bantey Samrei, Pre Rup.
A good day here again. Back not too late to the guest house, shower fresh and maybe a snack in town (well what there is still no mage of journne just drank too much because you said cho) ... nope nothing in bin made of it all, just a shower and a ... nap. It s is collapsed as the masses.
the evening we went to see a dance performance in front of a small apsara fruit cocktail.
** Day 3 **
Levee later (starting at 6am, luxury) and depart for the more remote temples.
En route we assitons the end of a beautiful sunrise and direction The temple dedicated to women Banteay Srei, with the beautiful glow of the morning.
After some time in tuctuc (Me and a nap, and yes, despite the noise and chaos of motorbike road I am succeeded emdormir) towards the Rolios, a place that brings together three main temples which is Bakong . A magnificent pyramidal temple!
Small aprem quiet sunset at Phrom Bakheng. C is a temple in height where one can see Angkor Wat. Height bin it means climbing a hill and then climb to the top of the temple.
Sunset has started badly, a lot of cloud so many tourists are gone. J avoueq j ue had wanted to follow suit because all these steps down in the dark does not boot me too. But Kim convinced me to wait .. and I admit she was right. A beautiful sunset. Thanks to my big zoom J made pictures of beautiful sunshine violation. The Japanese are much appreciated. And since the weather was overcast, even al opposes setting any layer of the sun the sky s is dyed pink. Incredible! and it is not even back down in the dark:)
ps: Nath'm not fallen and broken no pants
ps2: I who has complained steps sapa, I've never been so climbs of stairs. I say climb because I know how they were al era but some steps are super close and super high. To climb OK, but for the descent'm a coward, so I down like .. let's just prudent;)
